They will record an album in 2010.Asturias leader Yoh Ohyama was born in Tokyo in 1962. His father is a painter who produced the cover art for Asturias albums.

Yoh's first encounter with progressive rock dates back to 1976 when he heard Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells. After performing in an amateur band he found a position at a recording studio run by Haruhiko Tsuda of Shingetsu, which gave him an opportunity to acquire skills in professional music production. He eventually left the studio and has since built a long-standing career as independent composer, arranger, producer, and recording engineer.Asturias became an official project in 1987, with album releases of Circle in the Forest (1988), Brilliant Streams (1990), and Cryptogram Illusion (1993) through King Records, one of Japanese major label. On these three albums Yoh performed on a number of instruments himself on most of the tracks, in the style of a solo project with guests, which included prominent musicians in prog circles such as Akira Hanamoto and Haruhiko Tsuda from Shingetsu, on keyboards and guitars respectively, and Yoko Ueno from Zabadak. All three albums are highly acclaimed as Japan's answer to Mike Oldfield. This incarnation presented only three live shows in a special formation with the two members from Shingetsu, along with a pianist and a drummer, while Yoh played the bass. However, in spite of high artistic claim, the albums fell short on sales (at least to the extent expected by a major label) and, due to the declining interest in progressive rock from label management, band activity was curtailed prior to planning its fourth release.Nonetheless, Acoustic Asturias was reformed in 2003 as a permanent band for recording and live performance, with Yoshihiro Kawagoe on grand piano, Misa Kitatsuji on violin, Kaori Tsutsui on clarinet, and Yoh Ohyama on nylon string guitar.

Musicians were selected from the classical music arena this time, in contrast to the rock musicians of the past. The music of new Acoustic Asturias is an exquisite blend of classical elegance and the dynamic/dramatic development which characterized the original Asturias, topped off with superb all-around musicianship. The band released a mini-album in 2004 with new material, as well as reworking of classic Asturias repertoire. The album has been selling well and even topped the CD sales chart at Music Term, Japan's premier online progressive music shop ( ), for four weeks. Press coverage has been favorable as well, and live shows in 2004 proved that the band has become one of the most popular progressive rock acts in the Tokyo area on par with KBB and Bondage Fruit. Acoustic Asturias continues to play at the shows till now.Acoustic Asturias went to abroad two times. One is BajaProg2005 at Mexico along with Artie Mestieri, Carl Palmer Band and Ken Hensley Band. Violinist Miki Fujimoto (from Fantasmagoria) joined with them as a support member just before the festival.

He took four years for planning and a year for recording. Asturias released In Search of the Soul Trees in 2008. The concept of this time was '21st Century of Mike Oldfield'.

He played more than 10 instruments and made an album with only his idea. There were many guest players such as Haruhiko Tsuda, and Akira Hanamoto from Shingetsu, Yoshihiro Kawagoe, Kaori Tsutsui, Kyoko Itoh and Misa Kitatsuji from Acoustic Asturias, Tsutom Kurihara from Lu7, Satoshi Hirata from Flat122. This '70s progressive rock style music got very good response from progressive rock listeners world wildly. Multi Track Recording Asturias is the studio project so that it is not able to perform live on stage unfortunately. After success of two formation of Asturias, Yoh Ohyama wanted to play more rock tasted music in Asturias style. Finally he formed Electric Asturias in 2009. Members are Satoshi Hirata and Kiyotaka Tanabe from Flat122 on guitar and drums, Tei Sena on violin, Yoshihiro Kawagoe from Acoustic Asturias on keyboards and Yoh Ohyama on bass as same as the show at '80s.The first gig of Electric Asturias was late 2009.

I custom built this replica guitar as a way to recreate a piece of blink 182 history. Tom used this guitar as a backup/main for a few shows in the late 90s, mainly the dude ranch Era.

I've installed all the accurate pickups, being the hot rails, jb Jr, and x2n. The hot rails is an off brand pickup, the jb Jr is an authentic Seymour Duncan, and the x2n is made by dragonfire pickups. This guitar is in perfect condition, I gigged with it once and it sounds killer. I'll include the link to the build video I made at the end. If you're interested, feel free to send me an offer. Trying to sell this soon to help fund another project. Electric GuitarsElectric guitars are used for playing a vast range of music.

Electric guitars work by converting the vibration of the strings into electric signals before they are sent into an amplifier. They are available from a large number of different brands, including Epiphone, Fender, Gibson, and Ibanez. What electric guitar body types are there?Electric guitars consist of many different body types, both standard and custom, the most common of which are hollow, semi-hollow, and solid.

They differ in several ways:. Solid: This classic style of instrument uses electric pickups and an amplifier to create sound. The solid body allows the amplified sound to reproduce the string vibrations. Semi-hollow: A semi-hollow body in an electric guitar makes use of electronic pickups that are mounted on the body.

Because the body is semi-hollow, the body itself vibrates. This means that the pickups convert both the string and body vibrations into an electrical signal. The sound hole can be blocked off to prevent feedback. Hollow: These electric guitars are composed of entirely hollow bodies, allowing them to be used both plugged-in and unplugged. They qualify as electric guitars because they are outfitted with electric pickups. What are the bodies of these guitars made from? Most of these electric guitars have a body that is composed of solid wood. This is because wood produces a full and rich sound. A few of these guitars consist of laminate construction in the body, while a small number are comprised of acrylic bodies.

Acrylic allows for an eye-catching, transparent look. What are the different string configurations with these guitars? There are several string configurations available with electric guitars, including 4-string, 6-string, 7-string, and 12-string configurations. Although each configuration can make a slightly different sound, the differences are mostly down to personal preference. Nontraditional configurations include 5-string, 8-string, 9-string, 10-string, and 18-string versions. How do you keep a guitar clean? In order to keep your guitar clean, there are some tips that you should be aware of.

When taking the strings off to clean the system, do so two or three at a time. If you are not changing strings, wipe them with a dry cloth after every session. Wiping down the fretboard with a damp cloth occasionally is enough to keep it in good shape. The pickups, tuners, bridges, and nuts can be cleaned in much the same way. The pickups on your guitar should be cleaned with a dry cloth.

Be sure to only use gentle cleaning products on your guitar. What are some colors that are available with these guitars? Some of the available colors include black, white, red, blue, and sunburst. Many of these systems are multi-color, consisting of combinations like black and white or green and white.
